I confess. Prior to hearing about SEO programs and site promotion business, I thought Google was perfect. I Used Google to look for everything from human beings, to photography, to current events to strange things and completely trusted the findings. Then I heard about SEO tools and a whole e-commerce revolving around site optimization, and my beliefs changed. But even before that, having done some reflective analysis, I got a hunch that search engines, Google to boot, know far from all, and share with the users a fraction of what they know.

My search travails soon convinced me that Flikr is a better image data bank, that with the help of RSS I can access great current events coverage without having to rummage through Google SERPs (rummaging seems more fitting than Google search), and human search is best administered by Facebook. It seems that every time I search for odd objects on Google, the results are often inaccurate, to put it mildly. Try searching for SEO apps and other SEO related subjects on Google and you are just about prepared to give up your sanity. I mean, seriously, what’s the relationship between SEO tools and online education websites or Web casinos? It happens in my frustrations.

So when news of best seo tools software and the whole industry built around it invaded my modest worldview, my suspicions about domains appearing on P1 of Google grew virally. Do they merit to show up on there and who is to blame, Google or site promoters using SEO software. The ethical quandary is huge. Do I seize using my SEO google ranking or do I quit using Google instead? I concluded that I can’t renounce myself from Google just yet. At least not till the decent rival enters the market. For now I will keep juggling between Blekko, Google and the above methods to complement the SERP mess that Google is. And, oh,yes, I will continue playing with my SEO apps.

Truth is that SEO tools is the reason why people like me get found on the web. Sophisticated as they are, Google Web spiders are not likely to find some random guy and index his webpage well. In this respect, I remain an unyielding admirer of SEO software and organic search. If it was all about the money, the corporate entities would demolish me before I knew it. And there are hundreds of organizations on the Fortune list! But here is something else that annoys me and other check backlinks users, I am sure. There are individuals who invest in SEO programs and use them to sell shoeson employment sites and the like. What we are given is rubbish that not only pervades the Internet but is also highly valued by search engines.

What is the public reaction to this? People search for SEO application reviews and will instead find junk search findings. They get disillusioned. So much for the “Internet fairness”. Does this indicate that SEO software and service field is bad? I don’t think so.

The unethical users of SEO tools need to stop polluting the Web but it’s like ordering hackers to stop hacking. The sad side about it is that black hat SEOs are abusing the chance to be visible on the Web that is given to the average dude like myself. For now we just have to be patient with them. We can only hope that Google will put more emphasis on catching the schemers abusing SEO software, and if Google doesn’t, the big search engine will.
