Pre-Working Drug Tests
No employer wants to hire someone who detected positive for illegal narcotics.
But what you do in your own time – shouldn’t it be your own business?
Sadly, powerful businesses
can afford to make a choice of its workers, and for a person looking for a work, the selection of where to work might not be as great as the corporation’s choice of who to hire.
When you apply for a position first you have an appointment and
if they are interested in engaging you, you’ll be sent to take a drug test, usually within a short period of time following the interview.
Most common pre-employment drug tests are urine tests – they are cheap and give as
efficient outcome as any other drug screening.
When you submit a piss sample to a lab technician, it is placed in a special flask and labelled in front of you and initialed by you, so there is no confusion who’s sample which.
Later on approximately half a example is tested in original testing.
Generally, a positive drug test results in a man not getting a job, and when they inform you that you were not picked for a work, they are not required to let you know why: it might be the drug checking results, or it just might be they chose somebody else over you.
In case you already have a job and tested positive in initial testing, the firm is required to do a second, stating drug test on the same example.
They do not do other test, but simply take back the remains of the first sample that is kept in the lab and execute a more advanced drug test to confirm or deny the results of the drug checking.
